Silver Earring or Pendant Workshop

An intermediate jewellery workshop

  • 190 Australian dollars

About this workshop

This is an intermediate workshop where you will need some previous knowledge of silver making. You will learn traditional silver-smithing techniques including: sawing, annealing, soldering, forming, texturing and polishing. You will receive a piece of copper sheet for practice and then a piece of silver from which you will create your earrings or a pendant. You could create both if you keep the design simple. Workshops are held in my home studio in Tarrawanna. The address will be sent to you via email once you make your booking. Lunch, tea, coffee & water is provided. Cost is $190 AUD per person. This includes a information pack with some materials and the use of my tools and equipment. If students are wanting to make larger earrings and pendants, there will be an additional cost for the silver. Each workshop class has no more than 4 students, ensuring the teaching time is very much one on one. There is a minimum requirement of 3 students, before a workshop will proceed. All tools and equipment are supplied for the duration of the class. A starter’s kit for the beginners is provided which will contain sufficient materials to complete the workshop. To secure your place in the workshop full payment is required upon booking. Thank you & I hope to see you soon!
