Bring your passion for silver jewellery to this creative workshop. Details below.

About this workshop

This is an intermediate workshop where you will need some previous knowledge of silver making. You will learn traditional silver-smithing techniques including: sawing, annealing, soldering, forming, texturing and polishing. You will receive a piece of copper sheet for practice and then a piece of silver from which you will create your earrings or a pendant. You could create both if you keep their design processes to a minimum. The workshop is held in Yvette's home studio in Tarrawanna, the address will be emailed once booking is complete. Each workshop class has a maximum of 4 students, ensuring teaching time is very much one-on-one. A minimum of 3 students are required for a workshop to proceed. Cost is $190 AUD per person. This includes: - an information for beginners kit with sufficient materials to complete the workshop - the use of tools and equipment for the duration of the class - lunch, tea, coffee & water If students would like to make larger earrings and pendants, there will be an additional cost for the silver. Full payment is required when booking to secure a place in the workshop. Thanks & hope to see you soon!
