Bezel Setting Workshop (copy)

This course takes place over 2 days on one weekend. You will be designing a silver ring or pendant that incorporates a cabochon stone. You will be using skills to shape the silver into a ring or pendant, create a bezel to house your stone and push the metal over the stone and secure it in place. ​ This is an intermediate to advanced workshop where you will need previous knowledge of silver jewellery making. You will improve on your last silver-smithing techniques such as: sawing, annealing, soldering, forming, texturing, and polishing and learn new skills with stone setting. Workshops are held in my home studio in Tarrawanna. The address will be sent to you via email once you make your booking. Snacks, tea, coffee & water is provided. Please bring your own lunch or, there is a cafe in nearby Tarrawanna Village. ​ Cost is $290 AUD per person* for the 2 days. This will include an information pack, some consumables, small amount of silver, the use of my tools and equipment and my knowledge and assistance. 

​*Additional fees. You can purchase a cabochon stone during class (approximately $15 - $30) or feel free to shop online for a CABOCHON STONE ONLY and bring it to class. A minimum stone size of 10mm round or oval is required. Workshops will hold no more than 5 students, ensuring teaching time one on one, with a minimum requirement of 3 students, before a workshop will proceed. ​​
